What is WCLH 2025?

The Union World Conference on Lung Health 2025 (WCLH 2025), organised by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), is the world’s largest event and forum for lung health professionals. It brings together global experts, researchers, and advocates to coordinate efforts in the fight against lung diseases.

As part of the Stop TB Partnership’s Re-imagining TB Care initiative and our concrete and tactical efforts to identify, adapt, and implement best practices from the private sector for the public sector, specifically TB and global health, we in partnership with the Asian Development Bank, organized a high-level, interactive and action-oriented roundtable discussion with key country and regional stakeholders and partners, including Korean innovators, to exchange knowledge and information about accelerating the concrete, practical, and optimal roll-out of Korean health technologies for TB and other airborne infectious and lung diseases to prevent, prepare, and respond to future pandemics in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Stop TB Partnership, Government of the Republic of Korea, and Unitaid co-hosted during the 78th World Health Assembly a workshop to increased knowledge and understanding by global health organizations of the pipeline of Korean innovations already available or soon to be available on the market and to increased knowledge and understanding by Korean innovators about the country and global pathways to introduction and scale-up.

TBIS 3.0 brought together leaders in the TB and global health space, as well as energized current and new stakeholders and partners, including new champions, donors, funders, and innovators.
